Théa and James met as flatmates when they first moved to London in 2017. After years of friendship, they decided to start writing music together and name themselves Lelli.

Lelli mixes Théa’s sweet singer songwriter melodies with James’ underground production style. Among other genres, they perform alternative R&B with influences from artists like ELIZA, James Blake and Angèle. Lelli fills the gap between left field and mainstream music.

The success of their second EP, Popular Kids, has brought them to work with French label Kitsuné and be supported by BBC Introducing London, Adidas and Nova Radio.
